For the duration of my senior year at Griffith University I acted as both a producer and concept artist for the short film, The Sunriser. During this time I managed a team of 18 people who worked across various roles to create the film including directing, animating, concept design, background design, prop design, sound design, voice acting and composing. My role involved many various tasks across the film, with a large part of my job involving keeping film staff on track with the use of multiple trackers, setting bid days, regular meetings and contingency allowances for all the fun stuff that life throws at you - and being able to juggle and reorganise tasks so that things stayed on track. While it was not my first time managing a team of people, it was my first time producing a film and I had to learn a lot as I went. It was certainly a fulfilling role to be involved in, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to manage our team and see the film come together.
